Served as a Co-Principal Investigator for NSF Award #1002746 for $1,877,252 National Resource Center for Systems Security and Information Assurance. This is a grant awarded to Moraine Valley Community College and UIS is a Sub-awardee/partner ($51,630). The grant was awarded in October 2010 and with an end date of September 2014.
Serving as the Director of the National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education at the University of Illinois at Springfield, sponsored by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security, June 2009 – present.
Consultant to Missouri State University Administration: Served as the external evaluator of the MSU Computer Science Department, October 2007.
Served as an external evaluator for the Master of Science in Information Technology degree program at the University of Maryland University Campus summer 2005.
