Teaching

My teaching objectives are to increase students’ confidence in their ability to learn and their interest in psychological science. First, I create a comfortable environment in the classroom by incentivizing participation and drawing from my educational experiences outside the classroom. Then, I actively engage students in psychology by instilling in them an appreciation of psychological research and teaching them to apply the course material to their own lives.

I regularly teach Research Methods, Social Psychology, and Principles of Psychology, occassionally online. I also teach advanced seminars, such as Stereotyping and Prejudice and Psychology of the Self.
